Every user at TIK [4] that has its own PC-compatible standing under his desk and needs to work with a real Operating System like any flavour of Unix, i.e. Linux [8], *BSD [7, 18, 17, 1], Solaris [21]. Thus, users of other OS may get an idea of what they could profite when using UNIX-style OS. However, they get to know what they need for their networking/eMailing systems. Please get to know, this is rather a hands-on and far from a complete work than an official ETH [6] document: This document is not official ETH information – to have the disclaimer notice written down.
